Community & Safety
Good company startswith mutual respect.
Happy Times is designed to help adults discover companionship for shared plans and experiences. Everyone using the platform is expected to respect boundaries, communicate clearly and prioritise safety.
Happy Times Safety Guidelines
1. Adults only
Happy Times is intended for people aged 18 years or older. Minors must not create adult-only accounts, apply as companions or participate in bookings offered through the platform.
2. Respect and consent
Every interaction must respect personal boundaries and consent. Consent must be freely given and can be withdrawn at any time. Pressure, intimidation, coercion, harassment or unwanted behaviour is not acceptable.
3. Keep communication respectful
Do not threaten, harass, stalk, discriminate against, exploit or deliberately intimidate another person. Respect a person's decision to stop communicating or decline a plan.
4. Verified does not mean guaranteed
A Verified badge means that a companion completed the applicable Happy Times verification process. It does not guarantee identity beyond the checks performed, personal compatibility, behaviour, intentions or future safety.
5. Protect your personal information
Be cautious when sharing your home address, financial information, passwords, identification documents or other sensitive information. Never share passwords, OTPs, UPI PINs or payment authentication credentials with another user.
6. Meeting someone
When meeting someone for the first time, consider choosing a public place, arranging your own transportation and telling a trusted person where you are going. Keep control of your belongings and leave if you feel uncomfortable.
7. Payments and financial safety
When Happy Times payments become available, use the authorised payment process provided by the platform where required. Be cautious of requests to send money, disclose banking credentials or make unexplained payments outside the platform.
8. No exploitation or illegal activity
Happy Times must not be used for trafficking, exploitation, fraud, violence, coercion or other unlawful activity. Content or behaviour indicating serious harm or illegal activity may result in account restrictions and may be handled as required by applicable law.
9. Companion responsibilities
Companions must provide accurate profile information, respect booking boundaries and communicate honestly about availability and the activities they are comfortable participating in.
10. Guest responsibilities
Guests must respect companion boundaries, agreed plans, applicable booking conditions and a companion's right to decline or end an interaction where permitted by the booking terms.
11. Reporting concerns
Happy Times will provide a reporting process for suspected scams, harassment, unsafe conduct, misleading profiles and other violations. Reporting and support contact details will be added before public bookings are enabled.
12. Emergencies
Happy Times is not an emergency service. If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services or authorities rather than relying on an in-platform report.
Trust your judgement.
A profile, booking or verification badge should never replace your own judgement. You can decline an interaction or leave a situation when you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
These guidelines will be updated as Happy Times introduces verification, reporting and booking features.
