1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use Happy Times, we may collect information such as your name, age, city, phone number, email address, languages, interests, profile information, photographs and information you choose to provide in forms or communications.
If you apply to become a companion, additional information may be required to review your application and complete the verification process. We will explain what information is required and why before collecting verification information.
2. Why we use your information
We may use personal information to operate Happy Times, process companion applications, review and verify companion profiles, provide account and membership features, facilitate bookings, provide customer support, prevent misuse, maintain platform safety, and meet applicable legal obligations.
3. Public companion profiles
Information intended for a companion profile may become visible to other Happy Times users only after the application and publication process is completed. Private contact information and identity verification records are not intended to appear as part of the public companion profile.
4. Verification information
Happy Times may request additional information from companion applicants to confirm identity, eligibility and the authenticity of an application. The exact verification requirements will be explained before this information is collected.
Verification information will be handled separately from information intended for a public companion profile. Happy Times will not intentionally display identity documents or other private verification records on public profiles.
A Verified badge indicates that the applicable Happy Times verification process has been completed. It does not guarantee a person's behaviour, compatibility, safety or future conduct.
5. Bookings and payments
When booking and paid membership features become available, Happy Times may collect information needed to process a booking, maintain transaction records, provide support and manage cancellations or refunds.
Payments may be processed through an authorised third-party payment provider. Happy Times does not intend to store complete card numbers, UPI PINs or other payment authentication credentials. Payment providers may process information according to their own privacy practices and applicable requirements.
6. When information may be shared
Happy Times may use trusted service providers to support features such as hosting, authentication, storage, identity verification, payments, communications and other platform operations.
These providers may receive personal information only when it is necessary for the service they provide. Happy Times does not intend to sell personal information to third parties.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect the platform, its users or others.
7. How long we keep information
Happy Times will keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing platform services, maintaining necessary records, resolving disputes, preventing misuse and meeting applicable legal requirements.
Retention periods may differ depending on the type of information and the reason it is being processed. When personal information is no longer required, it will be deleted or otherwise handled in accordance with applicable requirements.
8. How we protect information
Happy Times will use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.
Access to private application and verification information will be restricted to authorised persons and service providers where access is necessary for their role or service.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Users should also protect their account credentials and contact Happy Times if they believe their account or information has been compromised.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to information about how your personal data is being processed and to request correction, completion, updating or erasure of personal information.
Where processing is based on consent, you may also withdraw your consent. Withdrawal will not affect processing that was lawfully carried out before the withdrawal, but it may affect our ability to provide features that require that information.
You may also contact Happy Times with a privacy concern or grievance. Instructions and contact details for submitting these requests will be provided before the platform begins collecting personal information from the public.
10. Age requirement
Happy Times is intended for adults aged 18 years or older. Individuals under 18 are not permitted to apply as companions, create adult-only platform accounts, make bookings, or use services intended for adults.
If Happy Times becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a person who is not eligible to use the platform, we will take appropriate steps to address the information in accordance with applicable requirements.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Happy Times may update this Privacy Policy as the platform, its features, service providers or legal requirements change. When appropriate, we will provide notice of material changes through the platform or another suitable communication method.
The effective date of this Privacy Policy will be displayed when the policy is finalised for public launch.
